Choosing a propeller
Propeller sizing can be a huge headache, there are many variables to consider such as motor power, torque, weight of aircraft, battery size, the list goes on. This video will explain what the numbers on the props are and what they mean to its performance. Unfortunately that won't help you decide which propeller you need so as a rule of thumb just bear these propeller and motor kv combinations in mind
2200kv with a 6 x 4 prop = speed jet
1500kv with a 8 x 4 prop = scale plane
1000kv with a 10 x 4 prop = 3D slow flying
