Beginners advice 8 part series
Here's an eight part series which gives a general overview of most of the aspects of RC planes that you will need to know as a beginner.
The series is produced by RCpowers who are an excellent resource for beginner scratch builders but because he goes in to many aspects of RC flying, most of what he talks about will be relevant to the off the shelf flyer too. In my experience most people who continue in the hobby with shop bought planes will want to either upgrade motors, adjust control throws, repair crashed airframes etc. All of which is covered in this 8 part series.
